This show stopping Agapanthus creates an abundance of purple-black buds, which open to vivid violet blooms.The domed flower heads perch neatly upon stiff, upright stems above the slender, arching foliage. Agapanthus 'Poppin' Purple' is long lasting and repeat blooming, for an extended flowering period. This variety is quick growing compared to other varieties. With a neat, compact habit it makes a superb border perennial or patio plant and often produces a second flush of flowers in late summer or early autumn. Great for pollinators.
Delivery & Returns
The mail order plant season has traditionally run from October to March. Plants would be dormant during this time of the year and foliage would either be reduced or absent, reducing the risk of plant damage and making them easier to post.
As our mail order now runs all year round we may need to cut back some of our plants, particularly from April to October. This reduces the stress on the plant due to evaporation and reduces the transport cost. Cutting back will not harm the plants and will help them establish quicker by promoting new root and shoot growth once planted.
