At Gardeners Delight we are very excited to be exhibiting Agapanthus 'Zambezi', shortlisted for RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2025, on our display at RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
This is a unique Agapanthus. 'Zambezi' has broad dark green leaves, streaked with creamy-yellow variegation and bordered by a broad, golden-yellow margin. Long lasting, violet flowers are produced on tall stems and are borne above the foliage. 'Zambezi' is eye catching and makes a bold statement in any garden.
Agapanthus ‘Zambezi’ is an excellent container plant and is the perfect border plant for the perennial garden.

Delivery & Returns

The mail order plant season has traditionally run from October to March. Plants would be dormant during this time of the year and foliage would either be reduced or absent, reducing the risk of plant damage and making them easier to post.
As our mail order now runs all year round we may need to cut back some of our plants, particularly from April to October. This reduces the stress on the plant due to evaporation and reduces the transport cost. Cutting back will not harm the plants and will help them establish quicker by promoting new root and shoot growth once planted.
