Hardy, autumn-flowering perennial popular for its delicate pink flowers and attractive marbled, ivy-shaped leaves, thriving in dappled shade under trees and shrubs where it naturalizes easily , providing beautiful groundcover and often blooming before its foliage emerges. It's a robust choice, tolerant of dry shade and cold, earning the RHS Award of Garden Merit for bringing late-season colour and texture to gardens.
Delivery & Returns
The mail order plant season has traditionally run from October to March. Plants would be dormant during this time of the year and foliage would either be reduced or absent, reducing the risk of plant damage and making them easier to post.
As our mail order now runs all year round we may need to cut back some of our plants, particularly from April to October. This reduces the stress on the plant due to evaporation and reduces the transport cost. Cutting back will not harm the plants and will help them establish quicker by promoting new root and shoot growth once planted.
